Project Management for Nonwovens Industry

We were hired under a multi-year contract by a customer in the nonwovens industry to oversee the disassembly and shipping of a nonwovens machine. In addition to coordinating with the site crew and logistics firm, we provided comprehensive project management at their customer site, facilitating engineering review meetings.

Subsequently, we supported the development of capital grade estimates for various machine configurations. This included coordinating with the engineering team to develop functional and equipment specifications, sending requests for quotes to vendors, organizing vendor site visits, and coordinating the preliminary design development with the design team. We facilitated design and risk assessment sessions, prepared multiple estimate options, and led estimate review meetings with the owners to ensure they had a clear understanding of the available choices and associated costs.

Industrial Design for Nonwovens Industry

Lead the development of the full asset system layouts for the multiple machine configurations keeping in mind manufacturing and ergonomic best practices through out the design process.

As part of the projects, we help conceptualize and design an industrial grade forming table, which included the forming box, dampers, and forming air connections.
